Description
OK, I've gotten costumer's block with this costume. There's several different directions I can go with the commissar costume, and I'm not sure which one I should take. So, I drew a very non-canon design I've been working with for a while, a more restrained WWI-esque style, and then I realized option three was just going to be a Death Korp of Krieg-like commissar, so I just posted a picture of the mini.
The image on the right is a stock photo from
, illustrating the pants idea I've kind of fallen in love with, though I fear it will look silly. It's either that, or I try to find something tighter, maybe like the DKoK model or even more fitted than that.
My reason for posting all of this is to get your input. Even if you don't know anything about 40K, I'd love to know which one you think looks best, or what parts of each design look the best.
(Note: I will not do a costume that looks like that limited-edition female commissar model. I am averse to showing that much cleavage.)

First off just like to say big admirer of your art and costumes.
I dont think I could add too much to whats already been said as I see a torrent of comments (did not read them)
Id like to suggest making the footwear a combat boot instead of the very attractive but not very practical heel boots you have at least for the left pic. Now im not saying dont do heels as the commisariat is as political as it is combat orietend and well gaudy as hell so im sure many do in fact wear heels, suave bastards that they are. So just something to keep in mind if this is a sort of character driven piece. If not it needs more purity seals!
